The Glitz Africa Fashion Week (GAFW) 2013 has already kicked off at the Accra International Conference Centre, and designers are wowing the audience with different concepts.
This year marks the second edition of the event and it features designers from both Ghana and abroad, plus over 70 international models on the runway show.
This year is bringing creative designers like Christie Brown, Mina Evans, Aya Morrison, Poqua Poqu, She by Bena, PISTIS, Elikem Kumordzie The Tailor and Ajepomaa, N’Kya Designs, and House Of Ecentrics.
The rest are Sa4a, Konfidence, Amèyo, B’venaj, Royal Dennis, MSimps, Ani Siyah, April Rust, Kolture Aparel, Rovon, Chocolate Clothes, Deborah Vanessa, Sarah Christian, Afriqan Apeiron and Kus to showcase their collections at the fashion week.
So far so good, the previous days have seen pure bliss and beauty from the designers and models who gait in these apparels.
The runway has also seen familiar faces on the runway like Pokello of the BBA: The Chase who modeled for her man: Elikem, Sandra Ankobiah and Vimbi of BBA fame.
Day one and two have been churning praises from attendees who have been marveled by this year’s improvement from the organizers.
The Glitz Africa Fashion Week (GAFW) 2013 is aimed at providing a platform for Africa’s fashion industry to showcase its talents, network, celebrate each other and expose them to uncharted market.
