Police Storms School To Avenge Assault On His Son

A non-Commissioned officer at the Konongo police station is reported to have caused a stir at a local primary school when he stormed a classroom and mercilessly beat up an 11-year old pupil. Police Sergeant C. A. Kufuor’s reason was to avenge an earlier assault on his son, Kingsley by a classmate, Ebenezer Teye.

A misunderstanding is said to have arisen between the two boys leading to a scuffle. However, when little Kufuor went home after school, he reported the incident to his father who stormed the school the following day, entered his son’s classroom and asked him to identify his assailant.

As soon as his son pointed to Teye, the policeman, who was in uniform pounced on him and rained blows on him much to the astonishment of the Class teacher and the pupils.

Sensing danger, the teacher raised alarm, which attracted the attention of other teachers and the head-teacher who came to the rescue the pupil. Sergeant Kufuor then left the school in a waiting taxi-cab.
