On why he is contesting as an independent candidate, the renowned Kumawood actor told host of the show that “a lot of parties have ruled us but Manso Nkwanta constituency has still not experienced any improvement so this is the time to wake up and fight for my people. Manso Nkwanta constituency has share in the national cake so they have to also benefit from and this is the time”
The veteran actor who has served as an Assemblyman in the area in a separate interview with Zionfelix.com hammering on his chances of winning the seat at Manso Nkwanta revealed that “the incumbent who won because of money is not the favorite of many.
He has this tag on him which says that he will not allow the youth in the area to embark on ‘galamsey’. I know for a fact that the act is illegal in Ghana but Chinese are allowed to do that in the community. I have my policies to also help the youth in the constituency to also mine the gold legally.”
