Music group Praye, which consists of Cartel Big J and Kente aka, Praye Tintin was at Nana Addo’s residence at Nima in Accra to endorse his candidature ahead of this year’s election.

During the meeting, they used the opportunity to present a campaign song they have composed for him to help canvas votes for him prior to the 2016 general election.

The group in an interview with Hitz FM’s MzGee has detailed why they decided to publicly endorse the leading opposition party’s flag bearer.

Cartel Big J, a member of the group said they have always believed in Nana Addo’s policies for the creative arts industry since 2008.

To him, most of his colleagues in the showbiz industry are coming public to declare their support for him because he has promised to make the industry a priority to his government should he win the election.

He disclosed that the group Praye has loved Nana Addo since 2008 but they are now making it public because they are ready to go to the extreme to make sure he wins the election for him to implement his policies for the creative arts industry.

The half of the group noted that endorsing Nana Akufo Addo will not affect the group negatively even if he does not win but quickly added that he is optimistic the NPP flag bearer will be announced winner after the December 7 polls.

Praye joins stars like Socrate Safo, Mark Okreku Mantey, Cwesi Oteng, Bibi Bright, A-Plus, Lucky Mensah, Leo Mensah, Agya Koo, Matilda Asare and many others who have endorsed the candidature of Nana Akufo-Addo.
