The National Democratic Congress's town hall meeting held at the Bukom Arena was attended not only by politicians but also by a host of media personalities, including Benard Avle and Umaru Sanda, as well as social media influencers like Kalyjay and SDK, among others.

In the wake of the event, Twitter was buzzing with massive reactions, and popular influencer, Kwadwo Sheldon also decided to wade into the discussion.

He stormed online with claims that the NDC invited him to the event but he declined and this is because they gave everyone they invited predetermined questions to ask to make it easier for Flagbearer John Mahama to answer.

According to Sheldon, he declined to join the launch since he didn’t want to be part of an already planned 'questions and answers event'.

"You know what be funny about this? They invited me for the Bukom thing on condition that they will give me the question to ask JDM..said it’s either my personal questions or nah...be like they weren’t interested in that so I played FIFA.

"I was told on the phone I was going to be given a question to ask the former president.. that’s what I was told!!" he wrote.

He added that most of the influencers who were at the event accepted the conditions but has kept mute over it.

"Most of your influencers here know about what I’m talking about tho... They know! And it goes beyond just the questions but hey we move," he stated.

His claims, however, stirred controversy online amidst attacks from the NDC camp.

Some NDC supporters have questioned why John Mahama would subject himself to questions from top journalists like Bernard Avle, Umaru Sanda, and Sampson Ayenini, yet appear scared about Kwadwo Sheldon to the extent of imposing a condition for asking predetermined questions.

A popular NDC youth activist, Perry, also dared Sheldon to provide evidence to support his claim.

He said the popular YouTuber's claims are merely centered on propaganda.

"Lying for clouts and agenda is the most stupidest thing to do, Bro. I dare you to prove any form of evidence of anyone giving you a question to ask John Mahama. It's fine to support Bawuliar but to lie in an attempt to taint the image of yesterday’s program is not not. And I hope your team won’t be at any program organized by the NDC," his statement read.
