President needs our support to solve Power rationing-Actress

Ghana’s long serving Former AIDS Ambassador, musician and actress Miss Joyce Dzidzor Mensah, has called on her brothers and sister in the art and entertainment to rethink about their intended demonstration against the power outages in Ghana.

Speaking in an exclusive interview on Obaapa Radio in Germany last night, Friday 8th may 2015, on their newspaper review program, Miss Dzidzor Mensah, explained that, it seems that the organisers of the demonstration, actress Miss Yvonne Nelson, Rapper Sarkodie and their contemporaries doesn’t know anything about Ghana's history as far as energy is concerned, therefore they are acting on ignorance.

Miss Joyce Mensah told the host of the program, Baffour Agyeman Frimpong that, the electricity rationing and power outages existed under previous governments but nothing has been done about it until H. E John Dramani Mahama came to power and the president has promised to fix the problem before the end of this year.

“In my personal opinion, I don't think any president will enjoy being criticized for this long if he knows or have an immediate solution to a particular challenge” she added.

She lamented on the current happenings is the country whereby insults and vilifications has taken the centre stage of national discus in the name of freedom of speech and democracy. . She called on her brothers and sisters in the industry to give their full support to president Mahama and his administration to enable him solve the power crises once and for all.
