Pride killing female artistes in Ghana – Feli Nuna

Songstress Feli Nuna has debunked claims that she has a ‘beef’ with her colleague, Ebony.

According to her, she respects Ebony and loves her music and can never have a problem with her on any grounds.

However, she indicated that she only has a problem with Ebony’s choice of lyrics because as celebrities, they should be seen as role models and their songs shouldn’t be too suggestive.

She said “I love ‘Sponsor’. I love the melody. I only said I wasn’t comfortable with the lyrics but it’s a very good song. Ebony is a great artist and I have no beef with her”.

She noted that female artistes in Ghana do not have a massive following and do not last in the industry because they are not together like the men are and therefore hinted of a collaboration with some of her colleagues in order to get the following.

“We don't do a lot of collaborations. That’s true. You know women and our issues. Getting us into the studio is not as easy as guys. It’s a big problem and we are working on it. I am working on a female collaboration with two sisters in the industry.”
