Prince Darron Celebrates Birthday With Orphanage

CANADA-BASED businessman, Prince Darron Obasa, on Sunday organised a party for the inmates of Osu Children's Home in Accra.

Mr. Darron Obasa, who also used the occasion to celebrate his birthday, joined in sharing small biscuits, drinks, food, among others to all the children gathered.

He said the party forms part of activities planned to entertain children in the needy home and also to tell the world that love was not just about lust or carnality but sharing with the less privileged in society.

He hinted that though his birthday fell on Wednesday July 14, he decided to celebrate it with the inmates of Osu Children’s Home.

“I have passion for children and as part of my social responsibility I have to put smiles on the faces of the children. I believe that there is more blessing in giving than receiving,” he said.

According him, he has decided that every year he would organize a party to entertain the inmates at the Osu Children’s Home as well as donate some items for their upkeep.

He expressed gratitude to everybody who had in one way or the other contributed to make the day a success.

He disclosed that he would make a special donation to the home later this year and promised that apart from Osu Children’s Home, he and his team have plans of visiting other needy homes in the country to assist them in their operations.
