Huawei Ghana, partners of this year’s music reality show, MTN Hitmaker, has promised to ensure contestants and fans experience interesting and memorable moments as season 6 of the contest hits the screens.

Operations Manager for Huawei Ghana, Jackie Yao who disclosed this at the launching ceremony of this year’s contest in Accra said, his outfit’s partnership with MTN will ensure this season of the reality show be an improvement and the best participants and enthusiasts have ever seen in the past.

To achieve this, he said, new elements have been added based on concerns raised by the organisers, contestants and fans in the previous seasons.

“As organisers, we want to make this event a little different from others. We’ve added some digital elements this year. That means we’ll show different aspects from this event. Not only the TV shows you previously enjoyed, but also the unforeseen footage of the artiste of the happiness moment and anything you can imagine is exclusive.

To make this year’s contest more interesting and successful, Mr. Jackie Yao said a lot of prizes will be won by followers of the weekly promotions.

“We’ll also offer a lot of prizes not only for the winner, the 24 finalists, but also for the weekly events we’ll hold promotion for the one who will follow. These will make this year’s contest fruitful and very colourful,” he reiterated.

Meanwhile, he said, a new digital platform, MTN Video Plus, which has been introduced will afford participants an opportunity to enjoy all the elements and contents of Hitmaker, as both the newest content and those from previous seasons will be available.
