Reggae/Dancehall artiste, Fee Ranking Reggae/Dancehall artiste, Fee Ranking

Fidel Leviel, known in showbiz as Fee Ranking, is a Reggae/Dancehall artiste who hails from Hohoe in the Volta Region and Lawra-Nandom in the Upper West Region.

Background

Fee Ranking is a lawyer by profession and is married with children. His father, the late Chief Inspector Robert Akoto, and mother, Madam Modesta Kuuba, hail from Hohoe and Nandom, respectively.

Fee Ranking worked as a nurse and later as a Hospital Administrator before his present career as a lawyer. He is currently pursuing music as a hobby, an activity he has been involved in since the age of 16.

Educational Background

Fee Ranking completed his basic education at Lawra JHS in the Upper West Region and had his Senior High Education at Nandom Secondary School. He was a brilliant student in his school days, representing Nandom Secondary School in quizzes and debates. He won a lot of awards for Nandom Secondary School as a debater.

He attended the following universities/colleges:

2. Mental Health College, Ankaful, Cape Coast
3. University of Ghana Business School
4. Faculty of Law, GIMPA
5. Ghana School of Law, Makola

Music Journey

Born into a family of musicians, Fee Ranking developed a passion for music at the age of 16. His late father was a singer, and his mother also loved to sing.

Fee Ranking has been in the music industry for 20 years and has released over 40 songs.

He released his first album, entitled Nurse Ay3 Rasta, in 2001. His second album, entitled Get Trouble, was released in 2003.

Unfortunately, this album is not in the public domain for now because it was purely analogue and disappeared after the advent of digital placement.

Fee Ranking's third album, entitled Broken-Hearted, was released in 2005. He recently followed up with four singles, i.e., Diiri Diiri Daara Daara, Jamaican Gyal, Jerusalem, and Got to Run (even Ghana itself dey owe). He also has over 70 unrecorded songs.

The multi-talented artiste is inspired by Alpha Blondy and Shabba Ranks.

Fee Ranking has featured Barack Obama hitmaker Blakk Rasta on one of his songs, titled Jamaican Gyal.

Fee Ranking is currently promoting his two singles: Got to Run and Jerusalem.
