Kumawood actor, Okomfo Kolege, known in private life as Collins Oteng, has advised his colleague actress, Portia Asare, to quit acting for her own safety.

This comes after Asare claimed that some of her colleagues were using juju against her.

She claimed that the Kumawood movie industry in Ghana is full of hatred and envy, claiming that colleagues she trusted tried to kill her.

In an interview with blogger, Poleeno Entertainment, Okomfo Kolege suggested that if she believes her acting career is the reason for the attacks, she should consider leaving the industry.

“If you believe you are being targeted because of your acting career, then please stop acting. Find something else to do,” he advised.

He noted that Asare might have been fortunate to survive the first series of attacks, but now that she has spoken out, her return to acting could provoke further attempts on her life.

“I love you that is why I'm saying this. Maybe you were lucky to have survived when you were targeted the first time. But now that you have come out to talk, if you decide to come back, they will make sure they succeed so you won’t talk again.

“So, please, for your own safety, stay away," he cautioned.
