Kumasi based rap artiste, Rapkimilist, has hit hard at Electricity Company of Ghana (E.C.G) for the ongoing rolling blackout and blamed them for delaying his second single release delay.

The young rapper who burst into the music scene a few months ago with his debut single titled “Sark-Ace” took to his official Facebook fanpage to lament on the current ‘dumsor’ problem facing the country and how it has affected his studio work.

Rapkimilist wrote: “Will 'Dumsor' ever end? Lovers of my debut "Sark-Ace" are hungry for more while I have hits piled up in studios all in the name of 'dumsor'. Save your ears and keep enjoying "Sark-Ace" as I do all my best to reach your speakers, radio and headsets with hits asap. Happy Eid-ul-Fitr.”

He later disclosed that, he is currently working with in-demand sound engineers Mike Millz, Killbeatz and Mix Masta Garzy and assured fans to expect collaboration with one of Ghana’s finest acts.

“I have already worked on songs with Mike Millz, Killbeatz and Masta Garzy. There's collaboration with one of Ghana's finest,” he said.

Having been overwhelmed by the love and support he received from music lovers for his “Sark-Ace” single, he said: “I thank all my fans for the support. I'm much grateful to DJs and Bloggers who sent my music out there. Ghanaians must be informed that there's rap in my blood and as such they are assured of the best.”

In the wake of controversies surrounding Sarkodie’s collaboration with We the Best Music signed act, Ace Hood, Rapkimilist released “Sark-Ace” to support the “New Guy” rapper and it turned out to be a huge success.

According to reports, “Sark-Ace” is making huge radio impact in Kumasi.
