Rapper changes name to Kwame Dame

Ghanaian Rapper who was formerly known as Frequency has changed his stage name to Kwame Dame.

According to the management of the artiste, ''Kwame Dame is the birth name of the rapper and he resolves to use it as his official stage name for easy recognition locally and internationally as he carries along with him his heritage as a Ghanaian''.

Kwame Dame started as a freestyle artist where his videos and creativity were shared on social media for fans to appreciate his talent, which most Ghanaians easily related to his creative, word play, rhythm and style.

In November 2018, Nigerian musician and originator of “Banku Music”, Mr Eazi, announced “EMPAWA 100” initiative in search of brilliant and talented underground acts. He through “EMPAWA Africa”, was to fund music videos by talented musicians to a tune of $3000 each.
