Rapperholic 2019: Sarkodie, Rudeboy excite patrons with epic performance

Rudeboy, a former member of now defunct music group P-Square joined Sarkodie at the ‘Unstoppable’ edition of Rapperholic for a grand show as the two musicians performed ‘Happy’.

Produced by MOG, ‘Happy’, one of the songs on Sarkodie’s latest album ‘Black Love’ which features Rudeboy, has become the favorite of many hence, seeing the Nigerian perform the track with Sarkodie was a delightful moment for patrons.

Not only did they sing along amid loud cheers; virtually everyone in the auditorium brought out their phones to capture the performance and update their social media statuses.

Paul Okoye as the Nigerian musician is known in real life, doubled the dose of excitement when he performed ‘Audio Money’. The song which puts a spotlight on the fake lives people live on social media, gained popularity in Ghana as its official video featured Shatta Bundle.

Prior to the performance with Rudeboy, Sarkodie had been very impressive with his craft at the 4000-seater Grand Arena. Patrons danced and sang along to smash hits like ‘Brighter Day’, ‘You Go Kill Me’, ‘Original’, ‘Baby’, ‘Adonai’, ‘RNS’, ‘Megye Wo Girl’, ‘Life’, and ‘Borga’.

Like the past editions, Sarkodie who owns the show, performed while some acts he has worked on songs with, joined him intermittently to thrill patrons.

The artistes for this year’s included Coded, Prince Bright, Efya, Sista Afia, Mr. Eazi, Joey B and Stonebwoy.
