Ghanaian born London-based actress, TV presenter and producer Ama K. Abebrese has asked Ghanaians to forgive Rashida over releasing her nude video on the social media.

According to the actress, Rashida is still a child and she has no idea of the implications of what she has done, urging Ghanaians to keep her in prayers.

The elegant actress shared the post on her Facebook account.

“Not too long ago I shared an article on this page written by journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni. I quoted him”

“Rashida is not a star. She’s not a celebrity. She is not a role model for young girls in her community. Let us not convince them that the best way to get to Accra and be on TV is to have sex and flaunt it or to master the art of verbally abusing others. Rashida is a deviant who deserves our sympathy, not our praises”

'“As a result of my sharing his article, a lot of comments were written on the post. Many in support of his article and others not in support. The interesting is the amount of bashing I received for even sharing this article. Some said that I was hater and didn't want her to succeed and that I was jealous because she is now famous, completely missing the point”

“Now today it has emerged that this young lady Rashida is said to have released a nude video of herself with flies around her female genitalia. Maybe she did it privately and didn't intend for it come out publicly. Either way the video is out now”

“She has come out the apologies for it however now the same people who were hailing her before are the same ones insulting her. You see human nature. The same people who bring can bring you up are the ones who brings you down. Especially when they brought you up for something that had no substance. This girl who is clearly misguided and by her finding fame and being awarded for being controversial and spewing obscenities i.e. Mala**ka, she is now only doing what she thinks will continue to make her more famous”

“I don't condemn her, I pray that she is able to get past past this, get good counseling and go on to achieve great things. Hopefully these mistakes won't define her” she wrote
