Ex-President Jerry John Rawlings will this weekend be showcasing his cooking prowess on national television as he takes over the kitchen of the cooking show, Dining With.
Dining With is a cooking show hosted by popular actress and producer, Yvonne Okoro, on GHone TV.
The show is produced by Desamour Company Limited and directed by celebrated filmmaker, Shirley Frimpong Manso.
Producers on Thursday announced that the third season of the show will start showing on GHone TV on Sunday, January 21 at 4:00pm.
The season will open with ex-President Jerry John Rawlings in the kitchen. He will be joined by renowned female broadcaster, Nana Aba Anamoah.
Snippets of the episode released earlier showed Mr Rawlings taking some ‘Azonto’ lessons from Nana Aba Anamoah and displaying his skills on the dancing floor. This gives an obvious indication that the show will be an interesting one to watch this weekend. It is the first time the ex-president has ever appeared on a cooking show.
He will also be the second politician to appear on the show after Mr Oko Vanderpuye.
The subsequent episodes of the season will also feature other personalities like Kennedy Agyapong, Kwaw Kese, Lydia Forson, A-Plus, Afia Schwarzenegger and Nigerian male Barbie Bobrisky will also be on the show.
The likes of controversial counsellor George Lutterodt and sibling stars, Sister Debbie and Wanluv Kubolor, are some of the personalities to also look out for.
The show does not only engage personalities who pass through to try cooking their favourite meals but also discuss other topical issues of the day and funny quiz moments.
The third season is dubbed ‘Cooks & Braggarts’ just as the second season, and it will be showing on GHone TV on Sundays at 4:00pm.
The show is sponsored by KLEANZ Products, Ghandour Cosmetics and Alvaro, a product of Guinness Ghana Limited.
