Comedian DKB, was the recipient of jabs from some netizens on social media after being spotted with the Deputy Executive Director of the National Service Scheme (NSS), for her birthday celebrations.
Gifty Afia Oware-Mensah marked her birthday with philanthropic acts across Accra, donating essential supplies to the New Life Nungua Children's Home, medical equipment to the University of Ghana Hospital, and contributions to the Madina Mosque.
However, in a video shared by blogger ZionFelix on his Instagram handle, DKB was spotted with the Deputy Executive Director at one of the places she visited.
The comedian's presence, however, was unexpected by many, given his previous criticisms of the government. This led to some reactions from the public.
Some social media users expressed their discontent, with one stating, "We need our money not for this; you will not even get any blessings from it because we the NSS are in pain and see how you Dey eat our sweat."
Another user implied that DKB's participation was driven by necessity, saying, "He joined because of hunger."
Responding to the astonishment, DKB, who was unfazed, commented, "It's all love when we meet."
