On Wednesday morning Reggie N Bollie who just landed in Ghana, had an interview with Jay Foley and Jeremie on LIVE FM’s Live Breakfast Club show.

On the show they talked about their X Factor journey, went down the memory lane to talk about moving to Europe to further their music careers, changes in their lives after becoming globally famous, and more.

Before the show came to an end, Jay Foley asked how they perceived Shatta Wale now, with Reggie answering that;

“With Shatta, i knew he could make it. He always had that drive. I remember back in the days, he would call me and…he lived around ermm Blue lagoon.. Sakaman. We would go to his house, and when he plays music he’s like..”Eyow check this one out”..You knew the fire was in there. So when i saw him resurface and going in hard, i was like..I knew this was coming. Big up Shatta.” Bollie also shared his views on Shatta saying;

“I got the opportunity to meet Shatta once at Labadi beach. And when i saw him i said to myself that’s the kind of energy you want to put into your music. His passion is very crazy and with such a person, he’ll always get there. Even though you might have started very rugged, in the end you’ll get there. And he’s someone who pushes for what he believes in so big up Shatta.” About Bisa Kdei, Reggie revealed;

“I’ll say Bisa is very authentic and original because highlife music has been there for a long time..but for him to just put a different spin on it..like when you hear his record you know this is Bisa.. and for me that is a very good thing to do so big up Bisa Kdei.”

He further revealed he didn’t know Bisa personally, but Shatta Wale, Sarkodie and Stonebwoy have one thing in common. “They have that never give up spirit! I remember when Sark was coming up i was called to do a feature for him,…whenever he comes and you give him the mic, he spits fire. For Stonebwoy same thing, very cool and quiet”, he added, with Bollie labeling Sarkodie as a ‘genius’.
