In a social media video, Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, warmly advised Charles Nii Armah Mensah, aka Shatta Wale, to avoid conflicts and focus on dedicating his full attention to his music career.

The P-Square star acknowledged Shatta Wale as “my brother from West Africa, Ghana,” revealing they had had “a deep and serious talk”.

The Audio Money hitmaker said he told Shatta Wale the most important thing as a musician was “doing good music – no beefs attached”.

“Focus on the music, focus on the business, no beef,” he stressed looking at the camera.

He cautioned: “If you beef, you’ll lose money. Trust me.”

Rudeboy rose from his seat and hugged Shatta Wale, who, all the while, stood sober, with a cup in hand, listening.

“This stubborn guy, I want to make him repent,” Rudeboy said lightheartedly.

“Repent,” Shatta Wale repeated amidst his classic belly laughter.

Beef is an entertainment industry term for fights. Mostly verbal and lyrical, there are instances beefs have gotten out of hand and violent.

Singer and record producer Shatta Wale is loved and hated by many for his hot takes on industry issues via social media rants and comedy.

He often employs controversial means like provocation and verbal attacks to make his point. Some of his prominent fights have been with Stonebwoy, Bullgod and Burna Boy.

Shatta Wale and Rudeboy met at blogger, promoter and singer Tunde Ednut's place in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
