Roger Quartey Denies Fighting Abdul Sallam

Roger Harold Quartey is one of the big names in the Ghanaian movie industry partnering giants like Venus Films movie productions and Heroes movie production to do chart topping films in the country.

After learning and servicing these people humbly, he feels this is the time to start his own thing in the make belief industry which happens to be his first love. Fortunately or unfortunately for him, ever since he made efforts to start this production called Roger Q. Productions, many are movie critics and fans who have accused him of backbiting some of his partners before reaching this far.

Some are of the strong view that he is even not in good terms with Abdul Salam Mumuni CEO of Venus films productions but the calm and collected Roger Quartey who has paid his dues to Salam as the production manager in many of his works, has come out strongly to deny this allegation.

In a telephone interview with him last Monday, he refuted all those allegations adding that there is nothing like a beef between Salam and himself. He added that he does not see why people would think he cannot produce his own movies unless he fights Salam. “There is no problem or whatsoever with Venus films as far as this production is concerned.

I am still working with Venus films even now on his production as I speak with you and I am still the one running the affairs. I can even let you put on record that some of the equipments I used on set were from Venus films. He even supported me in so many ways that I can`t discuss in the media so what is this, that I am fighting with Salam” he debunked the rumours in town.

In the heat of the moment, as Roger denies any quitting issues from the camp of Venus films, his new movie which rumours say is titled “TURN ME ON” to be released unto the market soon has gone past the editing stages. On his FaceBook page, Roger is reported to have written on his wall that fans should wait for the premiere of the movie soon to hit the market.

“Turn Me On” is a block buster movie which tells a story about a wealthy man who was murdered by his son who was supposed to inherit the father`s property. After the death of the father ,when he taught he was about to enjoy the fruits of his diabolic ideas, a lady appeared in the scene claiming she is also a daughter of the late rich man, therefore she should get her portion of the goodies.

The question curious minds would love to ask is whether she really had anything from the death and even whether there was some thing called property to be shared.

The movie touted to be Roger Quartey`s first born features Jackie Appiah, John Dumelo, Yvonne Nelson, Martha Ankoma, Kalsoum Sinare, Eddie Nartey, Kofi Adjorlolo among a host of others. Movie reviewers have started calling it the all stars movie though light skinned Nadia Buari was missing in action. Watch out for “TURN ME ON” to be released soon unto the market.
