Ghanaian Gospel singer Rosey Musiq has received significant encouragement from award-winning Gospel artist Diana Hamilton.

The two Ghanaian Gospel singers, both based in the diaspora, met during a discussion ahead of the fifth edition of the Ghana Music Awards USA. The talented and inspirational singer joined the likes of Bullgod, Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo, Abrantie The Gentleman, and the 'Adom' hitmaker on set as they discussed the upcoming awards ceremony.

Before Rosey joined the discussion, popular Ghanaian entertainment stakeholder Bullgod advocated for established artists like Diana Hamilton to support talented diaspora artists. Interestingly, Bullgod, the former manager of top Ghanaian acts such as Iwan, Shatta Wale, Natural Face, and 5Five, specifically mentioned Rosey Musiq's song "His Name," unaware of the coincidental encounter that was about to happen.

According to the head of Bullhaus Entertainment, less popular diaspora artists need empowerment to build their music careers. He suggested that Diana Antwi Hamilton and her peers should mentor these emerging talents as they navigate their musical journeys.

The event aimed to recognize and encourage Ghanaian musicians in the diaspora, particularly in the USA, to actively participate in promoting and celebrating Ghanaian music. The ceremony saw King Promise emerging as the Artiste of the Year, along with stunning performances from Ofori Amponsah, Sista Afia, Empress Gifty, Diana Hamilton, Rosey, and other notable artists.

Rosey Musiq delivered a remarkable performance at the Ghana Music Awards USA, held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the Grand Resort Hotel in New Jersey. She was nominated in several categories, including Female Artiste of the Year (USA), Best Gospel Song of the Year (USA), and Music Video of the Year (USA) with her song "His Name."

Rosey has been on an exciting journey with her music career, steadily climbing toward the apex of her profession. Over the years, she has released several impressive songs and added a touch of class to her natural performance abilities, first discovered as a young singer in church. Her recently released inspirational song, "Storm," features a trending Afro-fusion feel with simple, sing-along lyrics.

The dynamic singer, known for moving audiences with her live performances at weddings, church events, charity functions, and the Ghana Music Awards USA, possesses powerful vocal abilities that leave listeners craving more of her unique sound.
