It was all merry-making at Esienimpong near Ejisu when Royal TV stormed the area on Monday with its flagship entertainment talk show dubbed ‘Anigyie Fie’, hosted by movie star Clement Sarfo, aka Papa Kumasi.
Hundreds of people who attended the event had a lot to cheer about as they were treated to scintillating music provided by gospel musicians like Anita Afriyie and Ernest Acheampong.
Seasoned comedians including P4, Bishop Lumba, Kohwiegu and Santo Alive were also there to treat the huge audience to rip-roaring jokes. Earlier on, the Royal TV crew had stormed Kenyasi Number One with the ‘Anigyie Fie’ programme, where scores of people were also entertained by the comedians and musicians.
Royal TV wants to bring entertainment to the doorstep of its audience, hence, the station’s decision to take the ‘Anigyie Fie’ programme from its studios to the public, Papa Kumasi told BEATWAVES.
The ace actor said he was thrilled about the huge patronage that the two events had attracted, noting that ‘Anigyie Fie’ would hit other areas in the country soon.
Papa Kumasi stated that Royal TV is not just about promoting culture, stressing that the fast-growing television station is in the system to also educate and entertain its audience to beat stress.
He disclosed that Royal TV has more fun-packed programmes down it sleeves, adding, “The station will soon roll out such programmes ostensibly to bring joy into the lives of the people.”
