SAMINI UNLEASHES C.E.O, TAMALE CONCERT NEXT

Samini gave a new meaning to album signing after the Golden Tulip launch of his fourth album, C.E.O on Saturday, October 23, 2010.

He activated a retail tour which saw him take his new album directly to his fans at the Osu Oxford Street, Melcom Plus at North Kaneshie, University of Ghana (specifically Volta Hall) and the Accra Mall all on the same day. He ended at the Aphrodisiac nite club later in the night.

The Golden Tulip launch (at 10am) saw Samini unleash his plans for the year including a major concert at the Tamale Sports Stadium on Friday November 19, 2010.

After the media launch, a convoy made up of three SUV and a police escort flanked a black stretch limousine carrying Samini, his manager, Tony Pun, his personal security and six lovely ladies who ushered him to all the locations.

Before kicking off the album signing (retail) tour, the convoy passed through Metro TV where host of Morning Ride, Anita Owusu had an interview with the adorable Samini.

The forecourt of MTN offices at Osu was their first stop. With blaring sound, loads of fans stopped by to buy an autographed Samini CD and took photos with the dancehall king. Kwame B (Hitz FM) the main host of the retail tour was supported at Legon Campus by Bola Ray of Joy FM. Giovani Caleb (Radio Universe) and Eddie Micah (Y-FM) reported live on the road. Musicians who supported Samini throughout the trip were R2bees, S.K Blinks, Nash, Nash Dogg and King Willie.

With C.E.O officially launched, Samini has begun preparation towards his first major concert dubbed The C.E.O & friends Live In Concert at the Tamale Sports Stadium. He will be supported by Nana Boroo, V.I.P and three other top stars. Also Tamale based artistes to support him include B.F.Gees & Fancy, Lil' K, Black Echoe & Leokan.
