Movie actor and parliamentary hopeful, Abraham Kofi Davis, known in the industry as Oboy Salinko has donated to the poor receiving medications at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.

The actor as part of his project, 'Salinko Help The Needy' with his group visited the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital recently and settled the bills of some less privileged people.

He is, however, calling on the general public to assist him to donate more to the less privileged.

"My group and I visited the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital recently as part of my move to help the needy. We paid the bills of some people who are declared fit by the doctors but only have to settle their bills before they are discharged. The bills are very huge, and we could settle small amount. I am calling on the general public to assist me in this charity project."

Again, Salinko, who said his new name is Kofi Tankas, told seancitygh.com that, they are going to solicit funds from the public in the form of floating in the streets of Kumasi to assist this move.

He was recently in the news to have donated to inmates at the Kumasi Prisons as part of his birthday about three months ago.
