Ghanaian Reggae dancehall artiste, Emmanuel Andrews Samini has challenged controversial dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale to a rap battle. According to Samini, Shatta Wale is nothing but an empty barrel making ‘ugly noise’ in Ghana music industry.

To him, Shatta Wale can only claim bragging rights to the dancehall King title if he accepts to battle him on one-on-one rap competition. It could be recalled that Shatta Wale recently dared dancehall artiste and his closest contender, Stonebwoy to step up for one-on-battle if he wants to prove his supremacy in the Ghana music industry.

Though the Bhim Nation President has not yet accepted Wale’s invitation, he has said he is lyrically better than the self-acclaimed dancehall king. However, speaking on Hitz FM on Monday, Samini revealed that he is now ready to take on Shatta Wale on one-on-one rap battle to prove who deserves the dancehall king title when it comes to lyrics.

The High Grade Family boss insisted that Shatta Wale himself knows that when it comes to freestyle rap, he [Samini] is second to none. “He can’t stand me when it’s freestyle and he knows that. I know he is a freestyle artiste too and I can’t disrespect for that fact but he knows I am bad when it comes to that,” Samini said.

Stressing on the lyrical battle, the ‘My Own’ hitmaker urged the Zylofon signed artiste to prepare adequately should he dare to accept his invitation to the rap battle.

“He [Shatta Wale] needs big money and investment so we showcase the thing once and for all to Ghana and the world so everyone knows he just talks. He can’t go on any platform without mentioning me. If you say someone sabotages you, you need to prove that…” Samini told the host. Meanwhile, Shatta Movement CEO is yet to respond to Samini’s ‘rap battle challenge’.
