Samini set to release 6th album 'Breaking News'

Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Samini is set to release his sixth studio album after 10 years of a successful musical career.

Titled “Breaking News", the energetic live band stage rocker featured internationally acclaimed artistes including Ice Prince, Phyno, Tiwaa Savage and other heavyweight musicians in Africa and beyond.

Brainy Beatz, JMJ Baby, JR among others are some of the producers working on the album.

Samini stands as the "most decorated" Ghanaian musician who has won several awards, notable among them are MOBO, MAMAs, IRAWMA, Channel O, EME nominee among others - he was the first ever Ghanaian Dancehall & Reggae act to have won such awards years ago.

The ‘Linda’ hitmaker is currently in the USA working with other international engineers whom he says would mix and master his works there for a heavier production.

"After my 5th album ‘NextPage’ I've decided to reintroduce myself to the world yet again. I need to prove a different side of me to the world so I settled on Breaking News as the title of the 6th album, which comes with a completely new direction.

“Stronger Management Team too with head office in the USA as well as another in Ghana. I'm putting all the necessary resources to get this album ready by April 2015", Samini explained.

Meanwhile, a new single called "Hotter Fyah", one of the smashing hit songs on the BreakingNews album is due for release soon. It was produced and mixed in Jamaica on the "Highlife Riddim."
