Ace broadcaster and editor for Flex Newspaper, Samuel Atuobi Baah (more popularly known as Sammy Flex) is setting up camp with Accra-based Atinka 104.7 FM, ENEWSGH can exclusively confirm.
Titled Entertainment City, it is scheduled to run from 7pm to 10pm daily. Like his AM Pluzz Show on the defunct Pluzz FM, the programme will discuss solely poignant issues regarding Ghana’s showbiz industry. He will be supported by his sidekick Nii Ashley (Mr. Massive).
The show commences on Monday February 6, and is expected to draw extra “showbiz” listenership to the station which is predominantly sports/politics- oriented. He joins such high-profile broadcasters as Kofi Asare Brako (Abatey), Saddick Adams (Sports Obama), Ekouba Gyasi, and the Roman Fada.
Considered a torchbearer in many ways, Sammy Flex’s influence in the terrain cannot be overemphasised. Since leaving Pluzz FM at the beginning of this year, he has been briefly associated with Okay FM, and also camperes Flex Entertainment on The KSM Show. His Flex Newspaper also marks a ten-year milestone in Ghana.
