A number of Ghanaians have earned nominations at the 2015 Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts Awards (BEFFTA).
The BEFFTA’s according to the awards scheme’s official website is Europe’s biggest award ceremony celebrating black and ethnic personalities in entertainment, film, fashion, television and arts.
With over 6000 guests in attendance annually BEFFTA awards, founded by entrepreneur, TV presenter and philanthropist Pauline Long in 2009 is back for the 7th year to celebrate greatness within the African and Caribbean community and fully funded by the media personality.
Fuse ODG earned two nominations: Best Male Act and Best UK Afrobeats Act. Samini, Shatta Wale, R2Bees and Sarkodie are in the Best International African Act category.
John Dumelo and Mutombo The Poet were nominated in the Best Actor and Best Spoken Word Artist/Poet categories respectively.
Winners will be announced on Saturday October 31st, 2015.
