Cooperation Attachée with the French Embassy to Ghana, Madam Marine Hayem, has announced that some Ghanaian artistes including Sarkodie, King Promise and Darko Vibes would be performing at a show ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The representative said this at a presentation by the French Embassy and Republic Bank to the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) on July 9, 2024.
According to her, a special day would be dedicated to Ghana on August 10th. The day will feature performances by renowned Ghanaian artistes like Sarkodie, King Promise, and Darko Vibes, showcasing Ghana's rich musical heritage.
“For your information, there will be an African fan zone called Station Afrique that will open on the 20 of July and I'm also happy to inform you that on the 10 August, it will be a full day dedicated to Ghana.
“Many Ghanaian artists such as Sarkodie, King Promise and Darko Vibes will perform on that day,” she said.
As the 2024 Paris Olympic Games approach, Ghana is ramping up its preparations with a pre-camp in Strasbourg, France.
The city will host Ghanaian athletes and para-athletes, providing them with top-notch facilities to train for the global event.
