Sarkodie joins stars to rock Vodafone X concert at Legon

Over the weekend, the Sarbah Field of University of Ghana came alive as Sarkodie, Joey B, Pappy Kojo and other stars joined forces to thrill thousands of fans at an unforgettable musical experience christened “Vodafone X’ Concert.

The X Concert, organised to reward Vodafone users at Legon Hall’s Week Celebrations, saw Sarkodie and Pappy Kojo giving the expectant audiences a feel of their yet to be released single.

The evening started with performances from upcoming artists like Dark Suburb Band, Mr. Eazi, Shot Boi, and X Riddims Acts.

Sarkodie and other stars headlining the Legon edition of X Concert took turns to thrill audiences to back-to-back tunes which got them dancing, rapping and screaming along to the lyrics of the songs.

On Sarkodie’s impressions about the turn out of the concert, the BET award winner took to twitter to make this remark:

“Legon people de show me support!!!!! Huuuuh had mad fun!!!! Legon tuuuuurn up… Top class show last night: stage, Light, Sound, whole set up, crowd, time, everything… bigups @VodafoneGhana 100%.”

Members of Legon Hall’s organising team expressed their gratitude to Vodafone Ghana for re-igniting fire into Artists Night on Legon campus and to loyal Vodafone X fans for coming out in their numbers.

“The show was undoubtedly a hit. We have Vodafone to thank for delivering this an unforgettable musical experience to students”, a member in the audience recounted.
