Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie performed at the 2016 African Diaspora Awards held at the Florence Gould Hall, New York, United States of America over the weekend.
He performed a number of his hits songs for patrons of the awards scheme.
African Diaspora Awards is an awards scheme that aims to celebrate exemplary individuals who have made a significant difference in the African community in the United States.
It aims to identify and celebrate notable Africans that have genuinely excelled in various spheres of life, as well as individuals in society who have contributed to the advancement of Africans in the Diaspora and Africa as a whole.
The awards scheme is in its sixth year and organized by ApplauseAfrica.
