Eno Barony has taken a trip down memory lane, recalling her high school days at Methodist Day Secondary School (MEDASS) in Tema, where she shared the halls with musical giants Sarkodie and Stonebwoy.

In an engaging conversation with podcaster and entertainment expert MC Portfolio, Eno shared insights into their school experiences and how they each carved their paths to success.

Sarkodie was already popular back then. But funny enough, I initially mistook him for another artiste who was very outspoken on campus. We didn’t interact much, but you could tell he had something special,” she said.

Eno highlighted how Sarkodie’s charisma and focus made him stand out, even as a student. His ability to blend academics with his passion for music foreshadowed the global acclaim he would later achieve.

She also reminisced about Stonebwoy, another standout from their alma mater.

Stonebwoy had already started using his stage name back then. He would perform at our school events, and his talent was undeniable. You could see he was destined for greatness,” she noted.

Eno, now one of Africa’s most celebrated female rappers, reflected on how their shared beginnings at MEDASS provided a foundation for their artistic pursuits.

While their paths diverged after high school, the trio’s rise to prominence underscores the value of nurturing talent from a young age.
