Rayvon The action that resulted in a section of the Uganda press describing Shaggy as been arrogant was termed ?stunning? by the Ghanaian audience. Earlier on when Shaggy had his two concerts in Uganda on New Year?s Eve and News year?s Day, a strategy he adopted with partner-on-stage, Rayvon was considered rude.
When Shaggy noticed a slow down of energy among the audience, he called a challenge between himself and Rayvon. In this challenge, they divided the crowd into two. Rayvon took one and Shagyy, took the other. All kinds of words were used to describe the opponent?s crowd. For instance Rayvon ?dipped? his middle finger down on Shaggy?s audience, booing them. He referred to the pack as the ?cemetery?, ?the no show section?, ?the ?wack? joint", ?the dull crowd? in order to see his section of the crowd cream the loudest.
?This is an act no fun-loving folk would consider as being disrespectful?, Rayvon later told Ghana Music.Com. After all, they both join voices to entertain the entire hall afterwards, often exchanging their initial positions.
Rik Rok In Ghana, Rayvon and Rik Rok almost made Shaggy a no star. But one artist seriously worth watching is Rayvon. He seems to have too much energy; he knows nothing apart from ripping the joint- he?s never tired, and he knows exactly what the crowd deserves. I must say Rayvon (and Rik Rok) was the reasons why Shaggy had enough space to relax his nerves occasionally, and to do his own thing, rightly.
Occasionally, Shaggy would leave the stage to cool his breathe, and Rayvon and Rik Rok would take over the stage as though they were the mains. Shaggy gave Rayvon some space to perform one or two cuts from his ?My Bad? album while Rik Rok also did some tracks from his upcoming ?Proclamation? album.
