The head pastor and general overseer of Creator’s House Chapel, Prophet Eric Boahen, has revealed in a chit-chat during his private birthday party that it is not actually wrong for a Christian believer who is a musician to do secular music as it is usually perceived.
The man of God speaking to Zionfelix on the latest episode of ‘Zionfelix Uncut’ made the point that he is of the view that people should not be judged based on the songs they do and the attire they wear. He added that it was because of the likes of such people that God came to die.
Prophet Eric Boahen also stated that usually, the likes of Sarkodie and Shatta Wale sing songs which are considered gospel based on the lyrics in such songs and as such they can’t be entirely described as non-believers or sinners. The man of God also opined that such musicians have people who follow them and admire them for the sort of songs they do, which in one way or the other gives them some sort of advice on the things they should do or not do.
he fashionable man of God used the example of the prostitute who anointed the feet of Jesus with an expensive perfume in the bible as an example. He stated that even though the woman was believed to be a sinner, that little gesture made Jesus prophesied that her name will never be forgotten in the world.
Prophet Boahen, therefore, concluded by stating that he believes what they do may be what the Lord has called them to do.
Prophet Boahen used the opportunity to announce to the world that he is organizing Imperium Gathering for all believers in Ghana from Monday, December 3 to December 9 at Creator’s House Chapel located at North Legon near Wisconsin University.
