Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale is obviously worried about not joining Muslims in Nima and other Muslim communities to celebrate this year's Eid-ul Fitr, Flex newspaper has learnt.
Although not a Muslim, Shatta Wale's affinity to Muslims particularly those in Nima has been great over the years but due to his tour in the United States of America, he could not be part of the whole celebration especially the SallaFest.
“I apologize to all Shatta movement fans across Ghana for not being around for you this Sallafest, but I promise you that next year God willing we will spoil everywhere,” he noted.
Currently in the US for his American tour, Shatta Wale indicated tha he knew his fans in the Muslim communities in Mamobi, Nima, Sukura, Newtown, Adabraka and other parts of the country would be missing him, but "they should not worry because he is in America to make his fans proud just as they have always wanted him to do."
Anybody who has been monitoring Shatta Wale's posts on Facebook will attest to the fact that videos and pictures on social media prove how successful Shatta Wale's tour in America has been.
After the dancehall king put up a massive show at the Silver Spring Station 1 in Maryland, Chicago GhanaFest; he is set to take the fun to New York on August 9, 2014.
