YEN.com.gh has sighted a post by King of African Dancehall, Shatta Wale, celebrating the eighth birthday of his daughter.

Shatta Wale with a tweet disclosed how happy he was that his daughter, who looks like him, turned eight years old on July 1, 2018.

Named Cherissa, Wale tweeted that she was a blessing to his life, which made him give her another name, Nhyria [meaning blessing] when she was born.

Shatta Wale wrote: “Ma daughter hit 8 today... I thank GOD for making you a blessing in my life and that's why I named you Nshira. Happy birthday, CHERISSA.” Interestingly, Cherissa looks so much like her daddy in terms of their stature and facial features.

In a beautiful photo posted by her dad, Nhyira is captured smiling brightly while she holds up high a balloon shaped like a number eight to indicate her new age.

As she smiles, her facial expression is just like her dad’s when he smiles. It is no secret that father and daughter have a close bond and love each other very much.

In all, Shatta Wale has three children, including Majesty Wale, his only son with Michy.

Meanwhile, Shatta Wale has always been in the news for one controversy and another. Recently, his ‘adult’ video leaked, and this generated heated controversy on social media.

Fearing the repercussion that video might have on his already strained relationship with his baby mama, Michy, Wale was alleged to have apologized to Michy following the leaked video.

His latest song, ‘Thunder Fire’, which he sang with his Shatta Movement (SM) Militants, is making waves across the country.
