Multiple award-winning dancehall act, Charles Nii Armah Mensah-Jnr, simply known as Shatta Wale was in the news for allegedly been paid Ghc80,000 by Roads and Highways Minister, Alhaji Inusah Fuseini, to perform at his campaign launch in Tamale on Sunday.
Well, the folks at Tamale were extremely angry at the Minister when they heard the news that the ‘If I collect’ hitmaker was paid that much.
According to them, they are suffering and instead of the minister using that amount to improve their livelihood, the minister decided to doll out that huge amount of money to Shatta Wale.
The ‘Mahama paper’ hitmaker has finally spoken to the issue. According to Shatta Wale, the industry is a "f**king one full of pull him down."
He also added that if people talk or they don’t, he has already taken his money.
He tweeted,
