Ghanaian dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has thrown jabs at the Ghana Music Right Organisation (GHAMRO) for the second time in the year.
Few days ago, he threatened to take GHAMRO on for not paying his royalties. However, Prince Tsegah explained to Citi Showbiz that the ‘dance hall king’ had been paid in 2015.
“Shatta has received royalties before but by then he was with an old management. He was not even a registered member but that year we decided to give royalties to some artistes including him so to made GHAMRO attractive to them,” he said.
Prince however assured that Shatta Wale that his royalties for 2016 and 2017 were ready so he could go to their office for his cheque.
In related development, Shatta Wale has vented his spleen on GHAMRO again in a Facebook Live video indicating that he did not receive his 2015 royalties.
