Ghanaian hiplife musician, Richmond Opoku Ampratwum, known in showbiz circles as T- Blaze has said dancehall artiste Shatta Wale inspired his comeback.

Speaking in an interview with Bismarck Boachie (Dj Premier) on Entertainment Capital on Accra 100.5FM on Saturday 6, April 2019, the ‘wosisi ye wo ya’ hitmaker said if Shatta Wale was able to bounce back in the music industry after going incognito then he [T-Blaze] stands the chance to succeed on his second return.

Bandana after going quiet in the music industry for a long time came back and rebranded as Shatta Wale and has since been one of the most successful artistes in the country.

“I knew Bandana, so for him to come back that was an inspiration. If Shatta Wale has done it, then let me also try because his success makes me happy,” T-Blaze said.

T-Blaze noted that his absence in the music industry has cost him his fans and winning them back has not been easy.

“2014 was when I decided to focus on my music. I said to myself I have to make this thing happen and I dropped “Ma Char-gye”. I’ve been trying to come out for some time now and when I came back I’ve realised that I’ve lost all the fans because I used to have a lot of fans. I’ve lost the audience and trying to get them back hasn’t been easy but I’m still trying to bounce back.” he stated.

T-Blaze is out with his new single titled ‘fake slay queen’.

T-Blaze’s wo sisi ye wo ya was a banger in the year 2000.
