Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as dancehall ‘king’ Shatta Wale, has hit hard the Multimedia Group radio station, Joy FM.

In the wake of the tragic death of dancehall diva Ebony, Joy FM interviewed some panelists to discuss her death and prospects of winning any VGMAs posthumously.

However, one paneslist’s comments about the ‘worry’ from Shatta’s camp over the probability that Ebony would have swept all the awards at the ceremony later this year, while he (Shatta Wale) would have been left with no wins struck a chord with the artiste.

Shatta Wale, known to never stay silent about any wrong words thrown at him, posted a video on social media where he lambasted the radio station and all who work for and manage it for their unprofessionalism.

The dancehall guru did not mince words as he criticized the station’s lack of professionalism and their reportage of the tragedy.

Ebony, born Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng, was killed in a gory accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi highway after returning from a visit.

Her childhood friend and assistant, Franky Kuri, and their bodyguard also did not survive the crash.
