Shatta Wale reacts to Stonebwoy's comment about saving him?

Self-acclaimed Dance hall King of Ghana, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, better known as Shatta Wale in the showbiz industry appears to have thrown a subtle jab at his arch-rival, Stonebwoy.

n a Facebook post on his wall, the “Taking Over” song maker indicated that he had heard his name being mentioned by Livingstone Etse Satekla, known by the stage name, Stonebwoy in an interview. Speaking in an interview on Accra-based Hitz FM, the “People Dey” hit song maker indicated that he would not have shared his ‘glory’ with Shatta Wale if he considered him a threat to his career.

Stonebwoy added that he was not perfect but he would not gain any points by sharing the stage with a supposed rival.

Reacting to the comment made by Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale took to his Facebook page and subtly posted, “Today too I hear say somebody deh call my name ..”

Even though names were not mentioned, some fans commented on the post and indicated that the “Dancehall king” singer was taking a swipe at his bitter rival, Stonebwoy for comments he made.

It is believed that Stonebwoy indicated in the interview that he would not hesitate to save Shatta Wale on a day of trouble.

It is however unclear if Shatta Wale would reciprocate the action if he found Stonebwoy in any kind of trouble.

Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale, both of the Dance Hall genre in Ghana are considered top of their craft and reigning in the dance hall industry.

They have however put up the impression that they are arch-rivals. The two are purported to have nicknamed each other. Shatta Wale refers to Stonebwoy as Sergeant Lee and Stonebwoy returned the favor by christening Shatta Wale, Corporal Nii.
