Sammy Flex, the manager of Shatta Wale, has addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding the three-bedroom apartment secured for Shatta Wale’s mother.
In a recent Facebook post, he cleared up some misunderstandings and misconceptions surrounding the issue and provided his side of the story.
The house was ‘got,’ not ‘bought’
He clarified that he never stated the house was bought. Instead, he mentioned that they “got” a house, a detail some media outlets misinterpreted.
“Sammy Flex did not say the house was bought; he mentioned they 'got' a house, which some media misinterpreted. Always refer to the first video for this clarification and blame some media people for that narrative,” he stated in the Facebook post.
Shatta Wale’s mother left the house voluntarily
Sammy Flex also addressed claims that Shatta Wale’s mother left the house because it was rented. He explained that she chose to leave because she preferred living in a different area, not due to any issues with the property.
“Shatta Wale's mother chose to leave the house not because it was rented, but because she preferred living in a different area,” he clarified.
The landlord’s account
According to Sammy Flex, the landlord of the property has not made any negative comments about the situation and actually supports Shatta Wale's actions.
Connecting Shatta Wale’s recent Rolls Royce acquisition to the controversy surrounding the house
Recently, a video of Shatta Wale acquiring a luxury Rolls Royce went viral, with some speculating that it was intended to divert attention from the house controversy.
Sammy Flex denied this claim, explaining that the video was simply a coincidence and not meant to distract from his mother’s situation.
“The video about Shatta Wale’s customised Rolls Royce was not meant to distract people from his mother’s situation; it was just a coincidence. Shatta has been waiting for this car for a long time, and it just happened to arrive around the same time," he stated
Shatta Wale’s mother’s sentiments
Sammy Flex also stated that Shatta Wale’s mother’s sentiments might have been influenced by the public airing of the news, adding that the rumours does not reflect the true stance of the dancehall artiste and his team.
