Shatta Wale's fans can only pay GHC5 to watch his shows – Event organizer

An event organizer who took Shatta Wale to Kwahu in the Eastern Region where he performed to only 31 people during the Easter festivities, says he has now come to the realization that the artist does not deserve the amount of money he charges for shows per the class of people he does his music for.

This further corroborates claims that Shatta Wale indeed performed to only 31 at the event organized at Kwahu during Easter celebration plunging the organizers into huge debts.

According to him, Wale’s fans can only afford between GH¢5 and GH¢20 or in some cases want free entry to watch him per his experience at Kwahu.

When the host of Abusua Entertainment suggested Shatta’s fans are not persons who can afford the said ticket prices, Kojo Preko agreed saying “I will say yes you are right to say maybe in terms of paying ticket of GH¢ 50 and GH¢ 80 Shatta’s fans can’t”.

“This is because when it comes to Shatta’s people they might be 18 years or below or 20 years who would want to pay GH¢20, GH¢ 30 GH¢ 15 or GH¢ 5 and all that. That I agree with you and of course moving forward as event organizers we will have to check all those things.” He noted.
