Dancehall giant Charles Nii Amah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, yesterday at the official unveiling as Zylofon's new signee shared an "unbelievable" story on how he landed his new deal.

Shatta Wale in his speech at the unveiling gave an interesting revelation on how he first met the Zylofon Media CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah and how it all led to his enviable signing to the record label.

According to the "Shatta" story, he left the studio to go grab some ice cream for himself but noticed he was feeling uneasy so he parked his car to throw up.

He went on to state that he didn't want his fans to run into him so he put on his hoody and went out with a different car without a customized number plate. As he was parked trying to throw up, a car also parked few minutes after, and a gentleman walked up to him to find out what was wrong with him.

According to the "Shatta" story once again, the gentleman who spotted, helped and bought him drugs at that moment was nonother but the CEO of Zylofon Media.

He further stated that after that fateful day the two were in talks, and soon after Nana Appiah Mensah broke the news to him that he wants him signed onto his label.

Although for many this story will be hard to believe, according to Shatta Wale this really happened.

His deal with Zylofon is a three-year contract and it covers his production, distribution, marketing, and his brand. Shatta Wale will be joining industry giants like Stonebowy, Becca, Joyce Blessing, Kumi Guitar, Obibini, etc, as label mates.
