International televangelist Dr. Lawrence Tetteh is advising self-acclaimed Dancehall King, Shatta Wale to give his life to Christ and become a pastor to help in the propagation of the gospel to the world.
Speaking at the one-week memorial service for the late Ebony at the St. Martin De Porres School on Sunday, February 18, Dr. Lawrence Tetteh said Shatta Wale’s aggressive nature and boldness best suits the qualities of a pastor and if he becomes one, he will perform really well with that kind of attitude.
He said in the local Ga dialect that “Kw3 m3n3, k3 eba nyumo mli eerrr eebaa bo modiin paaaa”, meaning if he accepts Christ, he will perform really well.
“So tell Shatta Wale I said he can be a very good preacher, he should come and preach with us and it is possible. Who says it is not possible?” he added.
Dr. Tetteh further indicated that if Ebony had not passed away, she would have also become a preacher of the gospel.
“I have the greatest feeling that if Ebony had not passed on last week, by now she will be getting ready to become a preacher of the gospel”.
Dr. Tetteh is the leader of UK-based World Miracle Outreach. He was the spiritual father of Ebony.
