It is becoming clear that Shatta Wale finds difficulty not talking about Charterhouse and the Ghana Music Awards and for the second time in a spate of weeks, the dancehall ‘supremo’ slammed the Event Organizers.
In another thrilling concert, Shatta Wale was his usual energetic, buoyant and loud self when he produced a stellar performance at the Vodafone Vim Concert at the Trade Fair Center.
The attendance was huge, typical of any Shatta Wale concert and they were not disappointed. They enjoyed performances and also got a taste of the usual Shatta Wale rant.
It was an electrifying sight as the fans sang word-for-word, every song Shatta performed on the night.
In his rants, he chastised Charterhouse, organizers of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) for their ‘decision’ to sideline him in the awards.
He stated that, if Charterhouse will not give him awards, his fans and Ghanaians in general will continue to support his career and give him shows to perform, and that to him, was of topmost importance.
He thanked Vodafone profusely and incited the teeming crowd to applaud the Telecommunication Company for giving him that opportunity.
He also pleaded with the Company to sponsor the release of his next album in a yet-to-be named album release concert.
