After a hugely successful album launch in April, 2016 which witnessed over fifty thousand music lovers thronging the Independence Square in Accra, the King of African Dancehall, Shatta Wale, is billed to perform in London this summer.
Dubbed as “Shatta Wale Live In Concert”, the event which kick starts the Dancehall King’s much anticipated world tour will take place at the famous Indigo 02 on Friday 26th August which happens to be Bank Holiday in London.
Announcing the event this week, the Event Manager of the Akwaaba Group (Akwaaba UK) and organizers of the event, Dennis Tawiah, expressed his excitement about having Shatta Wale in the London to perform to thousands of his fans across the United Kingdom.
“Knowing Shatta Wale and what he can do, I am very certain of a great show and a memorable night for all attendees with the Ghanaian star who continue to rock all shows to the excitement of his audience,” he said.
The Dancehall King’s last performance in London was on March 28th 2015 when he headlined the Dance Afrique London concert at the renowned SSE Arena Wembley together with Nigerian musicians P-Square and Flavour.
