The music video for one of the biggest songs of 2018 is out and we’ve all been waiting for this moment. Shatta Wale has dropped the official music video for his monster hit track ‘My Level’ which was directed by Sesan.
Even if you are not a fan of Shatta Wale, you can’t deny the fact that, his song ‘My Level’ is such a huge song out there and each time it comes on, one can’t resist singing along it.
Yes! “Maybe today anor get nothing, but tomorrow ago get something, and I go buy motor for Mama oooo”—-Who doesn’t love this song huh?
The music video starts with Shatta Wale coming out of his old East Legon ‘Green house’ building holding on to Storm Energy drink, then he’s handed a set of ballons by one of the big SM fans, Shatta Berry then before we know it, the dancehall king starts levitating into the sky with his ballon.
People get surprised and start looking on as he sings the lyrics of the famous song.
Well, this is totally different and in as much as we were anxious for a music video for the song, we were not expecting this concept, but we guess the director wanted something out of the ordinary.
For me, I was expecting to see some transition from the day he lived in that ‘Green house’ to the time he gets his major record label deal at Zylofon, then perhaps in excitement takes mom to get her a brand new Range Rover ( you know Wale loves Range) then we take the party to his new mansion with lots of girls, booze, and the Militants smashing some ass and all that—Well, I’m not a director, so let’s enjoy this creative piece.
Aside from that, it’s a fun video to watch as Shatta brings humour to the whole thing as he levitates –Oh you should see the moment the balloons burst, the facial expressions alone.
