Shilo (Nii Ketse) Welcomes Himself To The Hiplife Game

The former hip-hop rapper who changed his style to the local Ga dialect after been advised by Jay Q gives us a sneak preview about his music life.

Shilo who rides high on the Q Lex Entertainment train explains the title of his album. "Hello is a welcome note. I titled it to welcome myself into the music industry".

When he was at Accra Academy, he did hip hop music (English). He even has a hip hop album, which he did at Virtual Sounds. During their recording sessions, Jay Q his friend advised him to change his style and do hiplife.

The first artiste who featured him was Ogeefuo in 2003 and other artistes like Dr. Poh, Castro followed up and other ones. He has some new songs with Diapo, Six feet, Screwface, Molash and wow, you will get down on your knees when you hear them.

Shilo hopes to take an award next year with his 8-track album. For those who have not listened to his album, he even educates the public on hygiene and drug abuse.

The Ashanti-born rapper wants to tell Ghanaians and his fans that he, Castro and Screwface have formed a group called Cash face. Expect their album very soon.
