Fans out there who think Jay Dee, one of Ghana?s young musicians is lost in the music industry should watch out for his next album entitled Shishiishi by the end of this year because it is going to be a bomb.
Jay Dee who got his name from an Indian was born to Mr. and Mrs. Edusei in the year 1980 and has to his credit two albums with the titles Odo Boozen and Shishiishi. Odo Boozen even though was his first album had hit songs that heated the airwaves and moved both young and old to the dance floor. It has songs like Jay Dee that gives captivating stories about himself and Dae another exciting tune.
Shishiishi, his second album has already established its place in the hearts of the youth with songs like Who Killed Midas, Menyin Epoa and Alamkpan. His video clip features Jay Dee with a snake which he graciously swings around himself and a bevy of ladies dancing to the tune of the song in a swimming pool. A little dig into his background indicates that he is a born musician who is ready to take up music as a full time profession. As a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church he started singing at the tender age of five and was a good dancer in Datus Complex School where he had his primary education. In Junior Secondary School, he joined the school choir and had the privilege of being the lead alto singer. At Adisadel College where he had his secondary education he is noted by both the present and old students for his music talent when he joined the school band.
Jay Dee who no longer works under the record label of Low Down Records now has his own record label. This gives all indications that he is ready to satisfy his fans. He promises them of something good when it comes to Hiplife music.
